Water runs through our mind, our bodies, its in our greatest memories, we are mostly water, we need to care for this delicate resource. Bila is a water droplet made from 100% recycled materials, hand made by Chloe Alice. Bila gives a voice to the river, a call out for people to be conscious consumers. Decorative and playful, Bila is hand constructed from abandoned mattresses, light parts and tin. The light parts used are lens, they reflect and refract light, we see them change and bend the image and hopefully change and bend are actions, make us conscious consumers by reflecting our image. Our water ways are extremely important to all life we must be mindful, protect them, savour our sources, not dump or litter in our waterways. Bila hopes to enlighten us through the pleasure of its stunning form.
